Best Time to Visit Andaman for Your Honeymoon
We recommend travelling between October and May. Since the sea stays calm during these months, ferries run on time. The water is also clearer, which matters if you want to snorkel at Elephant Beach or dive near Havelock.
November to February is our busiest season. The weather sits between 23°C and 30°C, every water sport runs without delay, and Radhanagar Beach gives you some of its best sunsets all year. If you travel between March and May instead, it gets a little warmer, but you’ll find fewer crowds and slightly better prices.
We suggest you avoid June to September. The monsoon brings rough seas. Ferries can get cancelled, and water sports often shut down. That’s the last thing you want on a short trip together.
Best Places Covered in Andaman Honeymoon Tour Packages
We build most of our honeymoon trips around four places: Port Blair, Havelock, Neil Island, and Baratang. Each one gives you something different. Some are about history. Some are pure beach time. One adds a little extra adventure.
Port Blair
This is where your trip starts. We take you to the Cellular Jail, then out to North Bay Island to see the coral up close. After that, we walk you through the old colonial buildings on Ross Island.
Exotic Island Escapes
We can also take you out to Jolly Buoy and Red Skin Islands. The water here is some of the clearest near Port Blair, and you can spot coral right from the boat. Corbyn’s Cove Beach makes a great first stop too, with easy water sports if you want to try something gentle before the bigger islands.
Baratang Island
Here, we show you the Limestone Caves and the Mud Volcano. Both are unlike anything else on this trip. If you and your partner enjoy something a little different from beach time, add Baratang to your plan.
Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep)
This is usually the heart of your honeymoon. We bring you to Radhanagar Beach, then to Elephant Beach for snorkelling, and finally to Kalapathar Beach for a quiet evening walk.
Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep)
Your pace slows down even more here. We take you to Bharatpur Beach for the colourful water, to Laxmanpur Beach for sunset, and to the island’s famous Natural Rock Formation.
Together, these five places give you everything a honeymoon in Andaman should have. You get history, a little adventure, and plenty of calm beach time in between.
Romantic Experiences We Include in Your Andaman Honeymoon Packages Trip
The islands already feel romantic on their own. But we like to add a few special touches too:
-
Welcome Flower Bouquet: We greet you with a fresh, fragrant bouquet the moment you arrive. It’s a small thing, but it sets the right mood from day one.
-
Honeymoon Special Cake: We arrange a cake on your first evening to mark the start of this new chapter together.
-
Romantic Bed Decoration: We decorate your room with flowers for at least one night of your stay.
-
Beach Candlelight Dinner: We set up a private dinner right on the sand. Just candles, the sound of the waves, and the two of you.
-
Thrilling Water Sports: If you want some adventure too, we offer scuba diving, snorkelling, and jet skiing alongside the romantic parts of your trip.
-
Professional Photography: We send a photographer to capture your sunsets and your candid moments, so you walk away with more than just memories in your head.
Some of these come included with your package. Others you can add on if you’d like more
Adventure Activities You Can Add to Your Trip
-
Scuba Diving: We take you under the water to see Andaman’s coral and sea life up close.
-
Sea Walk: We help you walk on the seabed using a special helmet. You don’t need to know how to swim.
-
Coral Safari (Semi-Submarine Ride): We show you the reef through a semi-submarine’s windows. You stay completely dry.
-
Andaman Dolphin Boat Ride: We take you out on a boat to spot dolphins swimming free in the open water.
-
Parasailing: We lift you above the sea for a few minutes so you can see the coastline from up high.
-
Sea Kart: We give you a fast, splashy ride across the waves.
-
Snorkelling: We hand you a mask and guide you into Andaman’s underwater world. It’s an easy way to start.
-
Jet Ski: We give you a short, fast ride between your slower beach days.
-
Glass Bottom Boat Ride: We take you out on a boat with a clear bottom, so you can see fish and coral without getting wet. This works well if either of you can’t swim.
-
Speed Boat Ride: We give you a fast, breezy ride across the open water.
-
Banana Boat Ride: We strap you onto a bouncy inflatable for a fun, slightly chaotic ride.
-
Sofa Ride: We offer this as the calmer choice. Same waves, far less effort.
We usually suggest picking two or three of these. Trying to fit in everything tends to leave less time for the beach itself.
Honeymoon Trip Cost Per Couple
A simple 3-night trip through Port Blair and Havelock starts around ₹25,000 per couple. This includes your hotels, ferries, and basic sightseeing.
If you add Neil Island and stretch your trip to 5-6 nights with mid-range resorts, your cost moves to roughly ₹40,000-₹70,000.
For a more luxury trip, we offer private pool villas in Havelock, beachside candlelight dinners, and a photographer. These packages start from ₹90,000 and go up depending on the resort you choose.
Every package we quote includes airport pickup, ferry tickets between islands, your hotel stay, and guided sightseeing. Flights to Port Blair are not part of this cost, but we’re happy to help you find good fares from your city.
Ideal Duration for Your Trip
We recommend 5 to 7 days. This gives you enough time to enjoy the beaches, move between islands, and take in the romantic experiences, without feeling rushed.
If you have more time to spare, we can plan an 8-9 day trip instead. This lets you add more islands and activities while still keeping your days relaxed.
Day 1–2
- You land in Port Blair. We take you to Cellular Jail and then to Corbyn’s Cove for the afternoon.
Day 3-4
- We move you to Havelock Island for Radhanagar Beach and a few water sports.
Day 5-6
- You spend this time exploring Neil Island at a slower, easier pace.
Day 7
- We bring you back to Port Blair for some last-minute shopping before you fly out.
If you’re not sure how many days to choose, think about what matters more to you: seeing more islands, or simply spending more time doing nothing on a beach together. Both are good honeymoon goals, and we can plan around either one.
Best Itinerary for Andaman Honeymoon Packages
Day 1
You land in Port Blair, your gateway into the islands.
Day 2
We move you from Port Blair to Havelock for your first proper beach stretch.
Day 3
A full day in Havelock. Water sports in the morning, romance in the evening.
Day 4
We take you onward to Neil Island for a change of pace.
Day 5
We bring you back to Port Blair, taking the scenic route.
Day 6
You depart, ready to start married life back home.
This 6-day plan works well for most couples, but we can make it longer or shorter depending on which islands matter most to you.
Where to Eat in Andaman?
1. Hotel Dining
Most hotels and resorts here run their own kitchens. You’ll find Indian, Continental, Chinese, and seafood dishes, all without having to leave your hotel after a long day out.
2. Explore Local Restaurants
Port Blair offers a great mix of standalone restaurants and cafés for you to explore. You’ll find vegetarian food, South Indian, North Indian, and fresh seafood, all with their own local character.
3. Savour Andaman’s Culinary Delights
Between beach shacks, hotel restaurants, and small seafood spots, food becomes one of the best parts of your trip almost without you planning for it. We suggest trying a few different places rather than sticking to just one.
Pure Vegetarian Restaurants in Andaman
Finding good vegetarian food here is easier than you’d think. Port Blair, Havelock, and Neil Island all have solid options, from full thalis to lighter, more global dishes.
